To me the most impression was the warm welcoming from the staff, this makes always a huge difference, also despite the fact this is a old building and hotel it was clean, the hotel is close to all the facilities, but keep in mind Lisboa has many hills, unless your not a mountain goate, this can be a challenge, this hotel is up the hill but to me and my brother it was worth it. Our room had a safe / fridge, and clean restroom /shower 👍

Awesome people work at that hotel! Many thanks to you for all your help with everything: advice, providing hot water for tea at any time of the day and night, being nice and patient, and giving great suggestions regarding where to go, what to see, and where to eat. Thank you for ordering taxi for us to the airport! The cleaning lady is awesome too - the room was always spotless, fresh towels and bedsheets. Great location, great room, great people. We were very happy there! We also came to love Portuguese people - very nice, very helpful and kind - awesome people!

We were in the hotel for 2 weeks. All the time, cleaning and other services work perfectly. Special thanks go to the people who worked at the reception, from whom we got great tips for local travel, sights, places to eat and everything else. Help was given clearly beyond what can reasonably be expected. The location of the hotel was also great, in the immediate vicinity of downtown and Bairo Alto.

The hotel staff was extremely friendly and helpful, recommending ways of getting around town, excusions, and restaurants. The hotel is in a very central location to Barrio Alto and Baixa. It is walkable to both, and the subway line is only a few blocks away. There is a magnificent panoramic overview of the city just 2 blocks above the hotel. The neighborhood is quiet at night. We will definitely stay here again.

Location: close to the metro, mini shops and restaurants nearby. Room: perfectly clean, bathroom was spotless. Not big, but had room for everything. Staff: everyone was nice and helpful - thank you for it. :)

We traveled with a 16year old, so a real 3rd bed was nice! The hotel is nicely located halfway between the blue metro (to get to the city center, train station and river side) and a street with plenty of little restaurants. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

The staff were very helpful in providing information on where we wanted to go, and how to get there. The breakfast was great with a large variety of things to eat including yoghurt, fruit, different kinds of pasties and bread, cheese and ham and different kinds of coffee.

The location was excellent, despite being up a steep hill from the main avenue. But then, Lisbon is situated on 7 hills! There were several restaurants and small groceries near by. The staff were very helpful with directions so and information and going out of their way to deliver breakfast to my friend who wasn’t feeling well. The room was very comfortable.

The hotel staff was exceptionally helpful, kind, and honest (A staff member told us the buffet breakfast wasn't worth it if you don't eat a lot :) ). The room was spacious and clean. I loved how many windows there were in the room and the blackout curtains that protected us from the hustle and bustle of Lisbon. We were also glad to find extra pillows and covers in the room.

Incredible good value for money! 24hour front desk, staff super friendly + helpful. Good aircon, comfy mattess, good water pressure, small but more than adequate bathroom, bar fridge. Quaint neighbourhood, loads of interesting owner-run restaurants. The hotel is in a cul de sac. DO climb the double set of stairs at the end of the cul de sac. A lovely road awaits - cute stores, restaurants + elegant buildings plus a plaça with what could be the very best view of Lisbon - looking across at the Caselo. If you dont like hills, there are lots of Tuk-Tuks servicing the area, even 6 or 8 seaters!! Wish I could have stayed longer.
